Add a POP of color

I've finally moved into my new house! Now I need to start worrying about decorating. I have most of the large pieces (couches, beds, chairs, ect.), but its the little things that make a home. The house was built in 1911 and completely renovated in 2003. The main floor living room is one of my favorite spots. It has a wood-burning fireplace with white built-ins all around it. The back of the room has a large wall with nothing on it. With the color scheme of the room being mostly blues and browns, I wanted to find a piece of art that would really pop. After being directed to a website, I found the perfect piece by Tracy Rocca called "Andover". After e-mailing with Tracy I learned "Andover is a street in West Seattle, and the inspiration was an amazing rhododendron in full bloom'". If you've even been to Seattle you know how pretty the area is when all the flowers are in bloom and everything is so green and fresh. At 30 x 48 inches, it will be a perfect size for the room without overpowering everything around it. I can't wait to get it on my wall!
